Sonicandpals.com is currently the largest Sonic Sprite comic on the web, featuring daily updates for well over 5 years (2009). SaP is dedicated to providing quality comics that are clean, family friendly, and funny.
The comic got started when the Author, Trevor Fayas, read the grandfather of all Sprite comics, BobandGeorge, and simply said "meh, I can do that." This was back in October of 2003, and since that day Trevor has created a comic each and every day.
SaP has been through a lot of both original and unoriginal storylines. From the Sonic the Hedgehog games, to Hamlet, to spin offs of movies, to a complete integration of an entirely different fictional story and it's own.
The site is a Christian site, and features many other things other than just Comics. Fancomics, an extremely active board, information on Sonic Video games, Cartoons, etc are also available on the website. The current site layout was designed by Kristy Marcinova (Same Kristy that was in the comic), and custom coded by Trevor Fayas himself (Trevor is a major in Computer Science).
Also, it is important to note that the comic, Sonic and Pals, is a storyline comic. You really need to read the comic from the beginning, so please click the "First" button under the daily comic to proceed to Jan 1st, 2004 and start there! |

Trevor 'Trey' Fayas was born April 10th, 1988. He started making comics around late October, 2003. He prides himself on his Sonic fanatism (although with college, he doesn't get much time to further his Sonic legacy). Trevor is noted to be a pretty social person, who loves to get to know his fans, most of his friends are fans of the comic.
Trevor is also a Christian, and has produced YouTube videos on the subject. He ensures people knows he's is not perfect, and does his best to help other's understand the bible and such.
Currently (2009) he is attending University of Wisconsin, Green Bay. Hopefully graduating Spring of 2010 with a Bachelor in computer science. He builds websites, fixes computers, and codes, as well as dabbles a lot in anything geeky. |

Also called the Brotherhood of Burning Lava, the SaP Boards are where it's at in terms of community. From RPG's, to the shoutbox (chatroom), general goofy randomness, and areas like SaP Your Opinion (where fans can comment about the comics, what they thought, etc etc).
The boards are run by Chaos, who has been running them for quite some time now. They would be lost without him, so a special thanks to him for making them what they are. If you aren't signed up for the boards, I would definitely check it out. |

Sonicandpals started as a comic made as a fan of BobandGeorge, and so SaP is dedicated to hosting other fancomic's, as well as promoting clean comic making by requiring it's fancomic's to keep their content clean and friendly. The new custom made system allows Fan's to update their own comic on the site (onsite), or simply provide update notifications when they update their site (offsite comic). Other's can also rate the comics, as well as subscribe to get notification upon updates! |
|
Everyone need's prayer from time to time. Since SaP is a Christian site, the prayer system was developed to allow people to post their needs and praise, and allow us to see what God does with it. If you are a Christian, please pray when you see a notification, which are now easy to see on the top of the newspaper, and an easy view tab next to the news on the home page!
One can also see answered prayers, or comment on someone's prayer, providing comfort and support. |

| Although not updated as frequently as one may like, the Sonic Games section provide information and some videos on some of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise games. Eventually, Trevor plans on going through all the Sonic games, making video tutorials on how to beat them, however this dream isn't always compatible with his hectic life. |
|
| From The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, to Sonic X, this section lists all the Sonic Cartoons currently in existant. It provides a couple screen shots, character bio's, and a synapse of all the episodes! Check it out if you need to reference a Sonic cartoon, or just curious what some of the classic Sonic toons were all about. |
|
Although needing to be update, this is the location of the SaP Character Biographies. A good number of characters in the comic are not like or not found in the normal Sonic Universe, so this is where you can find out more information on them! |
|
From Sonic Adventure 2 to the current Sonic titles, Sonic has ground on rails throughout all the levels. SOAP grind plate shoes is what allowed him to do this. The link goes to the SSSoapShop, where you could buy SOAPs. Sadly, HSL won't make any more to sell...But, the SOAP shoes may be making a comic back with a new business partner and financing, but the future is hard to tell on it. |

You want to see Trevor Fayas?! Well, this is the place. Trevor has a youtube channel, featuring a mix of random funny videos (like tearing a phone book in half, to the cracker challenge), as well as videos on Christianity. So if you ever want to laugh, or have questions on topics of Christianity, this is where you would ask it, and then Trevor will make a video of it! |
|
Although not finished, this section is going to list all the people who helped make SaP what it is. From people who made sprite sheets that were featured in the comic, to people who helped build the database for the new site system. I will put this up at a later time, but for now, let me thank all of you who do fall under those categories! You all rock! |
